Abby Choy is a proud first-gen college graduate of UC Riverside, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Public Policy. During the 2024-2025 academic year, she served as the university’s student body president, advocating for student needs surrounding basic needs and driving campus events/initiatives such as a free legal clinic, research expositions, and a food recovery program. She is also an alumna of both Health Career Connections with Communities Lifting Communities and the Summer Health Professions Education Program. This summer, Abby is excited to support CHBRP in conducting health policy analysis and to deepen her understanding of the underlying structures behind healthcare. She aspires to become a physician committed to advancing health equity and creating sustainable change in the healthcare field. In her free time, Abby enjoys cooking, drawing, going to the gym, and practicing Wushu.
