Preetam Vupputuri is a second-year medical student in the UCSF-UC Berkeley Joint Medical Program, where he is also pursuing a master’s degree in Health and Medical Sciences through the UC Berkeley School of Public Health. He is passionate about building a more equitable and just healthcare system through community-centered policy reform. He is excited to work with CHBRP this summer to contribute to impactful health policy analyses and grow as a future leader in population health and health equity. Outside of academics, he enjoys cooking, hiking, and playing his ever-growing collection of instruments.
