Devon Sternberg is a Master of Public Health student in Health Policy & Management at UC Berkeley and a Blue Shield of California Fellow. He is passionate about advancing equitable health policy through innovation, insurance reform, and systems-level change. This summer, he is excited to support CHBRP’s work by contributing to analyses on the future of essential health benefits and the shifting dynamics between public and commercial insurance in California. He is also helping lead CHBRP’s social media strategy to strengthen public engagement with state health policy.

Devon looks forward to deepening his understanding of California’s legislative process and growing as a future leader in health policy and public service. Outside of academics, he enjoys hanging with his cats, listening to Taylor Swift, playing Pokemon, and exploring new coffee shops.
