Dan Zeltzer, PhD
Dan Zeltzer is an Associate Professor of Health Economics in the Division of Health Policy and Management at the UC Berkeley School of Public Health. His research focuses on how digital technologies, including telemedicine, AI, and connected medical devices, are transforming the delivery and organization of healthcare. He also studies how physician networks shape technology diffusion and patient care patterns. Dr. Zeltzer serves on CHBRP's Cost Team as a Cost Lead.
Before joining Berkeley, Dr. Zeltzer was a tenured faculty member at the Berglas School of Economics at Tel Aviv University and a Koret Visiting Scholar at Stanford’s Department of Economics and the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR).
Dr. Zeltzer received a PhD in Economics from Princeton University.
